Get to Know Some College Majors at Paragon International University’s Open House

On Saturday 25th August, Paragon International University organized an annual Open House Day, a walk-in event which allowed fresh high-school graduates an opportunity to ask questions about available majors and programs at Paragon International University. At the top of the Open House’s agenda, students listened to a presentation by a representative from RMIT University. The representative gave an overview of a joint Foundation Year Program offered in partnership between Paragon International University and RMIT University based in Melbourne, Australia.

Winners of the Supreme Writing Contest Sharing Their Experience

It is the fourth year for the Supreme Paper company to hold its Supreme Writing Contest. This year, the organizers chose the theme “Product of Cambodia” for the competition as candidates were required to write essays about products that symbolize Cambodian nationality. The top five candidates were selected to pitch their essays on stage on 23rd August, 2018

Scholarships for Paragon International University Students from Hunan University

Studying abroad is the dream of many students which not only gives them an opportunity to obtain a quality education but also offers them the chance to learn about foreign cultures through trips and interactions. Under partnership with Hunan University in China, Paragon International University’s graduates can study for their graduate degree at Hunan University. This year, four students from Paragon International University will be attending Hunan University to pursue their Master’s Degree in Applied Economics that is taught solely in the English language.

South Korea is not only famous for its pop culture and modern ways of living; higher education is also vital to South Korea, offering excellent opportunities to study at many prestigious universities. According to the World Top 20 Project, South Korea has the best education system in the world with a college graduation rate that reached 69% in 2016.

Eco-Plastic, the 1st Runner-up in the 12th Edition of Mekong Business Challenge in Bhutan

Eco-Plastic, founded by ParagonIU’s student (Sokanha Ly) and AUPP’s student (Bunhourng Tan) recently got the first runner-up in the 12th edition of Mekong Business Challenge held in Bhutan on March 17, 2018.

Mekong Business Challenge is a regional business model competition among the Mekong Region which includes Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. The purpose of this Mekong Challenge is to promote entrepreneurship among university students in the Mekong Region and to also launch new businesses and social ventures in the future.

PatagonIU's students took the first runner-up place in “Career on Camera 2”

Logistic” is a short video produced by Paragon International University’s students, Chandevipha Hout and Kimleng Tang. This group won the 2nd place in the video contest known as “Career on Camera 2” on March 5th. The “Career on Camera” is a novel initiative Career Introductory Videos (CIVs) program organized by the Asia Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS).

Baycha Get Number 1 in the First Global Game Jam Competition in Cambodia

Baycha team from Paragon International University took the first place in the Global Game Jam 2018, which is a competition hosted the first time in Cambodia at a startup community space “Trybe”, from 26 – 28 January 2018. Global Game Jam is the biggest annual global event which took place in more than 100 countries on the same date. The Baycha team who sat the first place in this competition are formed by 4 students from 4 different departments, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Digital Art and Design and Business Administration department.

GoSoccer from Paragon International University to Join Business Idea Pitch in Tech Giants in Singapore

A startup by Paragon International University’s students called “GoSoccer” won the award from the SmartStart Young Innovator Program on 28 January 2018.

Paragon International University's students rank 1st place in CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge 2017

Paragon International University, Panharith Leang and Keanghok Lay, won this year National level of CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge with a net gain of 21.66% on their stock portfolio. This achievement has also marked the 4th consecutive year that our students placed number 1 in this competition since 2014.
