The “Career on Camera” is a novel initiative Career Introductory Videos (CIVs) program organized by the Asia Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS). The members of the first runner-up team are both doing Business Administration at Paragon International University. They are among the 30 students from 6 universities in Phnom Penh, who were voluntarily utilizing their own smartphones to produce these career videos. In the process, they all went through an ongoing training workshop, formed a team to produce the video, and then competed in a two-month long video contest. With a focus on STEM careers, the winning videos have to best portray Cambodians at work for a young audience, explain what each career involves and what educational preparation is required for entry-level positions in the industry they choose.
