GoSoccer from Paragon International University to Join Business Idea Pitch in Tech Giants in Singapore

A startup by Paragon International University’s students called “GoSoccer” won the award from the SmartStart Young Innovator Program on 28 January 2018. Developed by a group of students from Faculty of Information and Computer Technology, GoSoccer is a smartphone application which helps coordinate the booking arrangement between the soccer players and the soccer field owners around Phnom Penh for their games.

Receiving this award, the GoSoccer Team will gain the access to a unique learning platform, mentorship, and financial support from SmartStart, which is an entrepreneurial program hosted by Smart Axiata aim at enabling and empowering young Cambodian talents in universities to launch their own tech startups together with Smart. Next, the team will go to Singapore to join the Idea Pitch and meet with representatives from the tech giants like Facebook, Google and Microsoft in their Singapore offices. The GoSoccer Application is also set to launch in April this year.
