Our senior student Oudom Oum from the Department of Political Science and International Relations shares his four-month internship experience at UNICEF Cambodia as follows:
"Working in an agency of the United Nations like UNICEF is marked as an immeasurable experience for me. At UNICEF, every day is such an inspiration, because at the end of the day, more or less, what we are doing would likely impact millions of lives of Cambodian children on the ground. I have learned many things which are neither taught at school nor at home.
I worked with people who come from every corner of the world, have different background and nationalities, speak diverse languages, and work in various fields and units with different levels of specialization and professionalism.
This experience is truly indescribable, but at the end of the day, I have realized that we are never too small to make a change."
