Paragon.U Student Studying in South Korea under a 2+2 Program

Many Cambodian students wish to study in South Korea because the country itself is modern and offers high quality education. Recently, Ms. Houymean LIM, a Paragon.U student majoring in Business Administration, just left the country to pursue her studies at Solbridge International School of Business in South Korea under a 2+2 program. The program is a partnership between Paragon International University and Solbridge International School of Business. Below is an interview between our team and Houymean about her studies in South Korea.

Interviewer: Good morning Houymean! Can you tell us about the 2+2 program?

Houymean: Good morning and thank you for your question Sir! The 2+2 program provides students with an opportunity to study in South Korea and receive two bachelor’s degrees, one from Paragon International University and another from Solbridge International School of Business in South Korea. Students are required to study for two years at Paragon International University and another two years at Solbridge International School of Business.

Interviewer: How did you get this opportunity?

Houymean: I had not known about the program at first, but I learned about it later after I participated in a short-term exchange program at Solbridge International School of Business through Paragon International University last year. During the exchange program, I recognized the quality of education at the business school, so I was asked the staff at Paragon International University whether I could transfer to Solbridge International School of Business. So, that is how I learned about the opportunity.

Interviewer: You have just started classes at Solbridge International School of Business. Could you tell me about your impressions of the school?

Houymean: At first, I was surprised because classes at the school are like conventions at particular conference halls. There are many students in the same classrooms. Not everyone is Korean, however, many students come from different countries. At Solbridge International School of Business, students come from fifty countries across the globe. As a result, I have learned many new things from those international students because they come from various social and academic backgrounds. I have also developed an interest in debate as I am participating in the school’s debate club to develop my critical thinking and public speaking skills.

Interviewer: What are your final words for today?

Houymean: I would like to thank Paragon International University and Solbrdige International School of Business for providing me the opportunity to study in South Korea through the 2+2 program. I hope to gain fruitful life experiences and credible knowledge from this opportunity.
