Yes, you can. You just need to make the payment of the registration fee in advance, yet you don’t need to pay any tuition fee. However, please notice that maximum period of study for a 4-year degree program cannot be longer than 6 academic years.

Paragon International University offers more than 400 scholarships and tuition fee discounts in 3 categories.

Those applicants who are awarded a degree in National Academic Olympiads (Smart Students Exam) or holding Grade results of A, B, C or D in National High School Exam (Bacc.II) are eligible for tuition fee discounts throughout their studies at Paragon International University.  

Another way to obtain a scholarship is to sit for Paragon International University Scholarship Exam. Successful candidates can earn tuition fee discounts ranging up to 100%. Scholarship exam date is announced on the university website every year. 

The Math Placement Test is administered during the orientation week (i.e. one week before the start of the semester).

High school graduates who have successfully passed their “BACC 2” exam are eligible to apply for admission to Paragon International University. There is not a separate entrance exam required for admission.

However, certain study programs require students to take a Math Placement Test to determine what level of math students should study in their freshman year.

Enrollment period is announced on the university’s main web site before the beginning of every semester. You can apply for admission to Paragon International University during one of the two intake periods.
First Intake (for Semester 1): from late August to early November.
Second Intake (for Semester 2): from early February to mid-March.

You can apply online for admission or simply walk in our campus to apply. Assistance is provided for walk-in applicants. Please note that international applications are subject to approval of registrar and the response process may take 5 working days.

Students who are interested in studying at Paragon International University must personally fill out an application form at the university’s campus. Officers at the university’s Student Affairs will schedule a date for you to sit in the Entrance Examination.

The university will get back to you at least in 1 week time (from the date you take the Entrance Examination) to accept or reject your application. After being accepted into studying at the university, you should come to the university with the Letter of Offer and register within a week. If the registration is not completed within a week, the university does not guarantee a place for you.

The placement test is held during the orientation week (i.e. one week before the start of the semester).

Yes, you can do so. However, the application and registration fees are non-refundable.

In an academic year at Paragon International University there are 2 semesters followed by a summer term. Semester 1 begins in early November and finishes in late February. Semester 2 begins in mid-March and ends in late July. For more updated information, please see “Academic Calendar” 

Course schedules are arranged by the Provost and typically spread over the week between 8AM and 5PM. In addition to their regular class hours, students are expected to spend 30 to 45 hours per week for independent study and research. In the English Preparatory Program, the session runs from 8AM - 12PM, from Monday to Friday, and learners are expected to do practice and self-study in the afternoons.

Yes. We offer a university education with a strong curriculum at international standards. Our alumni are admitted to prominent grad schools in USA, UK, Australia, China, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Thailand and many others.

Lecturers at Paragon Ingternational University are qualified and experienced professors​ who received their graduate and postgraduate degrees from reputable universities around the globe. They typically have a PhD in their field or at least a Master's Degree with teaching/professional experience. Paragon Ingternational University boasts its body of diverse faculty members and staff over 10 different nationalities from America, Europe and Asia.

Course schedules are arranged by the Provost and typically spread over the week between 8AM and 5PM. There are 18 weeks in a semester (including the final exam preparation week and the final exam week).

Attendance is a component of grading system and it comprises 10% of the overall grade. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in all class activities. Absenteeism will result in low grades or failure in the course. 

In order to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Paragon International University, you have to complete at least 132 or 160 credits. Number of credits required for graduation may change based on your study program. A course usually weighs 3 or 4 credits. Please refer to the relevant department for more information regarding the credits. 

Number of permissible credits you take in a semester depends on your academic capacity and requirements of the curriculum. Number of credits you take must be approved by your academic advisor.

Undergraduate degree programs at Paragon International University typically last four years. Students may delay their graduation if they suspend their studies due to extraordinary circumstances, or if they prefer to take fewer credits in each semester or if they fail several classes and need to repeat them. Please notice that Cambodian Higher Education Regulation tolerates extending your studies only up to 6 years.

Yes, you can, but you have to schedule an appointment with the Registrar and the Head of the Department that you wish to transfer to. Number of transferable credits may change depending on transcripts of individual applicants. Once the department head determines the number of credits and specific courses that you can transfer, the registrar's office will help process your transfer application. 

Paragon International University Scholarship Exam is a 2-hour long, paper based, multiple-choice test that measures students' general ability to succeed in one or more study programs at Paragon International University. There are three exam types: General Reasoning, International Relations, and Physics. 

* Applicants interested in any field other than International Relations must take the General Reasoning Exam, which consists of Mathematical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning questions. This is a two hour-long exam.

* Applicants interested in Architectural or Civil Engineering additionally take the Physics Exam. This is a one-hour exam.

* Applicants interested in International Relations (regardless of any other interests) must take the International Relations Exam. This is a two-hour long exam. It is only for IR applicants and consists primarily of questions testing general knowledge of current events and history. It also contains a short section on logical reasoning.

They are two ways you can apply for scholarship depending on your eligibility status.

Category A Scholarship: As soon as you have learned about your National High School (Bacc II) exam result, you should visit Paragon International University and register to enroll in your desired program of study, and secure your scholarship place. The scholarships are offered on first-come-first-served basis. 

Category B Scholarship: You can automatically apply for scholarship by signing up for the Paragon International University Scholarship Exam, applicants must fill out the Scholarship Exam application form, and pay the form fee of 5$. The application form can be downloaded from here, and it must be filled out and submitted to the Front Desk along with the $5 application fee.

There are 2 types of fees charged at Paragon International University. These are registration fee and tuition fee.

Registration Fee is 500$ per each academic year and it must be paid to proceed your studentship at the university. Tuition fees are the payment charged as value of your actual study, courses you take, lecturing etc. Tuition fees are charged on semester base. Tuition fee amount varies depending on your study program. Scholarship discounts covers only tuition fees, and not applicable to registration fee. Yes, tuition fee scholarship is valid for 2 semesters spent at English preparatory school and 8 semesters spent at the undergraduate program. Notice that the tuition fee scholarship does not include the registration fee.

Yes, Paragon International University  provides two categories of tuition fee scholarships for the academic year 2019 - 2020: 
Category A Scholarship: is based on the student Bacc II result.
  • National Academic Olympiads: 100% tuition fee scholarship; 30 places
  • Grade A: 100% tuition fee scholarship; 20 places
  • Grade B or higher: 75% tuition fee scholarship; 30 places
  • Grade C or higher: 50% tuition fee schoarship; 55 places
  • Grade D or higher: 25% tuition fee scholarship; 110 places

 

Category B Scholarship: is based the result of Paragon International University 's scholarship exam. 
  • 100% tuition fee scholarship: 20 places
  • 75% tuition fee scholarship: 30 places
  • 50% tuition fee scholarship: 50 places
  • 25% tuition fee scholarship: 110 places

Note: Registration fee is not covered by these two categories of scholarships.

The scholarships offered at Paragon International University are discounts that covers only tuition fees, not registration fee. For example, a student who has earned 100 % scholarship has to pay only registration fee every year.

For the scholarship that is based on the National High School exam (Bacc II) grade result, the students who pass the Bacc II exam in the same academic year are eligible. For scholarships based on Paragon International University's exam, any Cambodian student who has passed their Bacc II and is not currently studying at Paragon International University is eligible to apply.

No, transferring students cannot be eligible for a scholarship. Paragon International University only provides scholarships to students who start as freshmen.

No, the Scholarship Examination is administered only once every academic year.

Yes, International applicants residing in Cambodia apply for scholarship via the Scholarship Exam. 

National ID or passport or any ID with your name​ and photo on it. 

Prospective students are given 2 hours to complete the Entrance Examination.

The level is similar to the Grade 12 Examination. The type of the questions will be multiple-choice. The questions mainly measure students’ knowledge and skill abilties.

You can take the test any time you want after you enrolled to an undergraduate program at Paragon International University. You will be notified of your result immediately after the test.

Paragon International University English Language Proficiency Test consists of two parts. First part of the test is a 2-hour long computer-based, multiple-choice test that measures students' knowledge and skills in grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, reading comprehension. Second part of the test measures student’s writing skills and accuracy. At the end of the test, an overall judgement is done by the test coordinator to place the student to appropriate level in English Preparatory program or allow to study in freshman year.

Yes. Even if you are not proficient enough in English language, you can still apply for admission to an undergraduate program at Paragon International University. In this case, you will have to study in English Preparatory Program before you are allowed into freshman year.

Yes, you are exempted from taking the English Proficiency Test if you have a TOEFL iBT score of 60 or an IELTS score of 5.5. 

There are 4 ways to prove that your English is good enough to study at Paragon International University.

1. You can take Paragon International University English Proficiency Test and get a passing score or conditional passing score.

2. If you have taken a score of 60 or more at TOEFL iBT, you will be exempted from language requirement to study at Paragon International University.

3. If you have taken a score of 5.5 band or more at IELTS academic, you will be exempted from language requirement to study Paragon International University.

4. If you can certify that you have successfully completed level 12 at ACE English language courses, you will be exempted from language requirement to study Paragon International University.

The language of instruction and examinations at Paragon International University is English. All the courses are taught in English language. Therefore, it is imperative that your level of English language is proficient enough to study in an academic environment. 

If you fail the English Proficiency Test, you are required to enroll in the English Prep School.
The academic environment at Zaman University is challenging and demanding. You should have good skills in English in order to satisfactorily complete your major. 

Registration Fee: $500/year

Tuition Fee: $1,000/semester

Yes, tuition fee scholarship is valid for 2 semesters spent at English preparatory school and 8 semesters spent at the undergraduate program. Notice that the tuition fee scholarship does not include the registration fee.

English Prep School students study in morning, whereas self-study in the afternoon.

After taking the English Placement Test (EPT), you will be assigned to an appropriate level and placed in a homogeneous classroom according to your EPT result.

It is going to be during the orientation week, first week of the academic year, at Zaman University.

It will be a 2-hour test.

The questions will test your reading, grammar, listening and writing skills. According to the result of the test, you will be placed in an appropriate level and classroom.

Zaman University adopts the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to determine the level of students in the English Prep School. Please see the table below to have an idea about levels. You will be placed into one of them.

Before the beginning of the next academic year, you will have a chance to sit for the English Proficiency Test (for EPS students) or the English Placement Test (for new students), and you should be able to at least "pass on conditions". 

Paragon International University  is located on street 315, in Toul Kork area (close to TK Avenue). 

No, Paragon International University  has only one campus at the address above. 

The university has a number of student clubs such as Football club, ZUMUN, etc. The university is located in a convenient location in Toul Kork close to cinema, shopping mall, sport clubs where students can also choose to spend their free time off campus.

Unlike some higher education institutions in Cambodia, Students are not required to wear any uniform to the university. However, proper casual dress code is expected on campus.

Unfortunately, Paragon International University does not provide any housing facility to its students. Students who need accommodation may consider options of the rental rooms nearby Toul Kork area. 

Unfortunately, Paragon International University does not provide any shuttle services to its students to commute to the campus. Students need to arrange their own mean of transportation.
