Professional Training Program on Introduction to IT Applications

Computers have powerfully stepped into the daily life of every one of us. Whether we are computer scientists working all day with computers, managers interested in using the powerful tools provided by nowadays software, or just a student interested in writing an essay, we sooner or later find ourselves in front of a computer. This course wants to provide to the participant an introduction about the fundamentals of World Wide Web, the components of the System Unit, a deep understanding of the concept of Input and Output, the knowledge about the technologies used for the storage devices and the basic concepts behind software, operative systems, networks and communication applications. Additionally, the course provides the basic skills of Microsoft Office, delivered through theory and laboratory practice.

After completing this course every participant will have acquired the basis about networks, Internet, computers, Software, System Unit, Inputs and Outputs, Storage devices, database and security in computer applications. Furthermore, the course will provide the basis of Microsoft Office tools, providing a clear and simple introduction to Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
