Paragon.U won awards at SmartEdu USDP (2)

SmartEdu USDP (University Student Development Program) is a program organized by Smart Axiata. This is the second year the program is held, which is also known as Cohort 2. They selected 48 applicants from different universities in Cambodia. SmartEdu USDP started their Journey at Sokha Siem Reap Resort, and it lasted for 13 days.

Selected participants had to go through 3 different workshops during the Bootcamp, including the seminar on Critical thinking, Creativity, and Business Strategy. Besides, students also went through many Business Stimulations, Business Challenges and as well as CEO challenges. Within those activities, they had to solve the real problems of BIMA, Grab, and Thalias Hospitality Group.

Kimheng Sok, "Through CEO challenge, my team was chosen to be in a Top 3 teams. And then, we had to present my business ideas in front of the CEOs of Bima, Grab, Thalias, and Smart during the Grand Finale and Award Ceremony at Sofitel Hotel Phnom Penh on August 26th, 2019. My teams have been selected to be a CEO Challenge Champion with given the cash prize of 1800 USD. After joining this program, I can say that it gave me a lot of experience, both hard skills and soft skills. It was an intensive program that I never faced before, and it was an unforgettable journey for me as well..."

At the Grand Finale, four different prizes awarded to the participants. There are CEO Challenge Champion, Best Overall Team Champion, Best Overall Team Runner-Up, and Top Individual Performers (who get the chance to intern at Axiata, Malaysia).
