Paragon International University offers rewards and scholarships to Grade 12 Winners of the Smart Student Exams 2014

Preah Sihanouk Province – The Closing and Awarding Ceremony for Smart Student Exams 2014 was held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Samdech Auv Middle School, Preah Sihanouk Province, presided over by HE Hang Chuon Naron, Minister, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS), and attended by HE Sboung Sarath, Governor Council of Preah Sihanouk Province, Zaman University representatives, other VIPs, teachers and students from 24 cities-provinces, totaling around 600.

On behalf of Paragon International University, Dr. Ramazan Akbas, Director of Public Relations Office mentioned that, Paragon International University is pleased to be a partner with MoEYS in this Smart Student Exams since 2012 by sponsoring rewards and scholarships to winners of the exams every year in order to encourage these smart students to continue their efforts and study even harder to develop themselves for their own future as well as for contributions to the development of the country.

Specifically, for 2014 exams, Zaman University offers cash prizes to the top 3 Grade 12 winners of each subject, totaling 9 prizes. The 1st place receives 200 USD cash prize, the 2nd place 100 USD and the 3rd place 50 USD. Moreover, Paragon International University also provides full 100% scholarships to 30 smart students from the 1st to the 10th place in each subject for enrollment and free of charge study at Paragon International University.

The Smart Student Exams is an annual contest organized by MoEYS consisting of 3 subjects – Khmer literature, Maths and Physics. This 2014 contest took place from April 1-6, 2014 at Samdech Auv Middle School in Preah Sihanouk Province.
