A Cultural Field Trip to Siem Reap and Preah Vihear Provinces

From 24th to 26th of May, 90 students and a number of staff of Paragon International University joined a cultural field trip to Siem Reap and Preah Vihear provinces. During the first day, the group visited Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prom temples. On the second day, everyone also enjoyed the trip to the Preah Vihear Temple with its spectacular landscapes. On the way back to Phnom Penh, all students and staff also got a chance to visit Koh Ker, an ancient temple-city complex dating back to the 10th century. During the entire trip, Dr. Chen Chanratana, President of the Kerdomnel Khmer Foundation and a Khmer Arts instructor at Paragon International University, volunteered to be the culture and history guide and provided relevant and interesting information to everyone in the tour group. Overall, the field trip was informative and enjoyable by all. We look forward to similar trips with everyone again in the future!
