2017's Annual Student Conference at Zaman University

This year, the 4^th Annual Student Conference will continue serving the purpose of providing a platform for students to share their knowledge and research activities by presenting them to the public. Distinguished intellectuals and professionals will be serving as chairs and discussants of the panels and will provide feedback on the research papers.

The primary participants of this conference are university students in Cambodia and from the regions.

The primary goal of this conference is to inspire Cambodian and ASEAN youth to be pro-active in academic research, creating and sharing knowledge amongst their peers.

Recognizing the significant need for original research and development initiatives in Cambodia and to promote research culture among university students both in Cambodia and in the region, Zaman University organized and hosted the inaugural session of Annual Student Conference on 15^th of August 2014. The panels generated rigorous discussion on various subjects and attracted attention from the media and academia.

The second conference and the third conference, which were held on May 23, 2015 and June 11, 2016 respectively, became a testament to the success of the program by attracting undergraduates and masters from 10 different countries. The conference, being the first and only of its kind generated interest in Cambodian media as well.
